Sales Order Customer Search

The Sales Order Create: Selection screen has a single field to enter the Customer Number where known.

If the customer number is unknown, use the Customer Search: Select Within to search for the required customer.

The following Search Options are available:

  • Customer Name – Enter the customers name or Part of the customers name, at least 2 letters, and use a wildcard '*' option. (A wildcard is a single symbol, in this case a *, which replaces on or more characters)
  • Phone Number – Enter the customers phone number including area code. Do Note enter any spaces when entering the phone number.
  • Note: Searching via Phone Number is slow and is not recommended.
  1. Enter the customer name, part name and wildcard or phone number
  2. Click on the Search button to commence the search and generate a list of customers that meet the search criteria.
  3. If No customer(s) are returned; repeat the above action, changing the search criteria.
  4. If the customer can not be found, click on the Search Again button. Refine the search criteria, and click on the Search button again
  5. Select the correct Customer by clicking on the hyperlink (underline) on the Customer number.
  6. The 'Sales Order Create' screen will now display the relevant customer information.
  7. If the correct customer is not found, contact Agent Support for assistance.

Search Options for ICC Agents Only:-

In addition to the above you will also see

  • Card ID / Manual Docket
  • Search for Cards / Manual Docket
  1. Enter a Scan Package Reference Number in Card ID/Manual Docket and click Search to take you to the Scan Package Status Screen. This will show the entered Scan Package (if the scan package was created against a Manual Document enter the Document number here)
  2. Tick “Search for Cards/Manual Docket?” and click Search to take you to the Scan Package Status Screen where all Scan Packages for the Agent will be displayed
  3. If a Scan Package has a red cross in the Status Column please contact Agent Support for assistance
  4. If a Scan Package has a Green traffic light in the Status Column you can proceed with the order
  5. When ready to proceed select the Radio button for the Scan Package to show the Scan Package Detail and the Proposed Customer
  6. Select the Proposed Customer to take you to the Order Screen
